Classes

Classes will be available in different aspects of graphics, coding and writing and each class will have three different levels (Vocal Lessons for advanced, Drum lessons for beginners). The staff will decide which level you will be placed in after you sign up.
We currently offer the following classes with three levels for each:
Skinning
Templates
Graphics
Writing
Poetry
Enrollment
Signups for the various classes will generally begin a week and a half before the term is planned to start. Here at Chasing the Beat we have open enrollment tutoring which means the signups will remain open until two weeks before the end of the term.

Grades
At the end of each term, grades will be submitted by the tutors and posted within a week and a half after the term ends. Right before the term ends, there will be a final exam in each of the classes that will be worth one forth of your grade final grade in the class. The grades don't matter too much expect it shows you how you improved throughout the term.

Terms
Terms start at the first of the month last for three months with open enrollment throughout the whole terms excluding the last two weeks. After the three months are up, we will take a month off of tutoring while we prepare for the next term.
If you wish to participate in the wonderful tutoring program, please fill out the following form and post below.
Please note, if you do not have a gallery you will be sorted into drum lessons.
Tutoring starts April 1st and will go until June 30th!

REQUIREMENTS
 • active! This is a must because if we don't have an active tutor for the class then the class won't be active. If for some reason you have to leave, this is fine as long as you tell us.
 • You must be able to critique people objectively.
 • There must be a minimum of four lessons plus the final.
NEEDED
 • Advanced Skinning
 • Advanced Templates
 • Writing Subs
If we don't get enough tutors we will combine classes so keep that in mind as you are signing up.
Also, all tutors will be given $75 once tutoring has ended. This is because if for some reason they are unable to complete the term, they will be given $25 per full month they teach. All substitute teachers will be given $15 for signing up and will also receive $25 for every full month they teach.

SIGNING UP

No one is allowed to tutor more than two classes (this includes signing up as substitutes teachers) for it is unlikely anyone has enough time to do more.

Three weeks before the term starts, signups for tutors will begin and will close after a week and a half when the signups for students begins. This is because if we don't have a tutor for a class we can combine classes or drop them if need be. All tutors will receive 75 dollar in the bank automatically once the term is over. If for some reason the tutor is unable to teach all three months, they will receive 25 dollars for every full month they teach and will be replaced by a substitute tutor. During the tutor signups, we will also be looking for six substitute tutors to take the place of tutors in case one is unable to teach.
